Bridges 2010

The popular local Bridges Race 2010 was held in the Gorge waterway at Victoria on Saturday, Oct 16. The short sprint race is very popular and draws paddlers from Bellingham, Vancouver, Nanaimo, Comox and Calgary, among others.

This year's sunshine and 15 degree C temperature were much better than last years rain and cold.

Inny Outty Small Boat race

was held on Sunday and showed a great turnout. Many of the 'usual suspects' competed but there was a strong contingent from the Victoria Youth Paddling Club.  That was great to see so many new faces to paddling.  The race results are published CLICK HERE.

The races were also an opportunity to catch up with many of the wandering heros, just back from Hawai'i and the Molokai races.
